The first “Gemeines Getränk” is launching at ZKM as part of the 

Festival for Convivial Technologies and Arts

The drink has been in the making for the last 4 seasons, and came together through many human, more-than-human contributions and other-than-capitalist economic practices. 

The name “Gemeine Getränke: refers to Ivan Illich’s “Recht auf Gemeinheit” and reminds us of economic traditions that centre mutually beneficial relationships.


 as a starting point to organise drinks-making as a social and political act. Kathrin, Seema and Shaun will be at the launch on Saturday 14th November, from 3-4pm.
